The trials are not set to begin until Feb, at this point all I know is that the 2 individuals arrested are now pointing fingers at others.  There were several people in the vehicle seen left leaving the scene 5 if I remember correctly.  When I get more information I will let you know.

Good, they will spill the beans on everyone involved in the hopes of getting a lighter sentence, then they can get them all.

My deepest sympathy and prayers to you and yours Misti.

Thank you Marlene, I appreciate what you are doing.

I was thinking last night, he would be so mad if he knew they were calling him Little John in the news papers.  That would be one of those things I'd tease him about all of the time, him being 6'0 tall and me being 5'1.

The eye witnesses who saw the men fleeing the scene that night said there were 4 or 5 guys, 2 of which have been arrested each being charged with aggervated murder with death penalty specifications.

It is a bit frustrating that the prosecutor is not keeping in contact with his immediate family, they actually call me to dig up information and explain things to them.  The case was at first in the Franklin County Municipal Court, but has now been transfered to the Common Pleas court for a grand jury inditment.  The Municipal Court had public documents that could be accessed online, the Common Pleas does not.

I will provide information as I get it.

Thank you to everyone.

Dear Misty:
I just joined this list and came across this thread.  It caught my eye since we had a murder in our family as well, our nephew, a young man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.  I am so sorry for your loss.  How do things stand at the moment?  The wheels of justice turn so slowly.

One of the trials has recently - there were 2 men involved both charged with aggervated murder.  They as you could have guessed turned on one another, each accusing the other.  Charles Garrison was convicted and sentenced to 15 years.  15 years for murder - now thats justice!

Misti,

I hope you are doing much better now.  I don't know if it is me, but it seems like there is a lot of murders going on in Ohio.  It's getting scary out there in society with all those women being beaten, murdered or disappearing into thin air, while young people are beating the homeless with baseball bats.  ::)  Old people like me remember when life was so much simpler and the kids went outside to play kick the can or ollie ollie auction free.  Too much television, too many video games and way too much time on their hands these days.  It was better when they had to work picking fruit or whatever to earn school clothes and now these spoiled monsters want the best of everything, theirs or not.  Yes..sadly... the drugs are rampant and out of control.  It's not safe for men or women to be out after dark let alone the children hitting up a beer party.

Life is different in this era.  I hope you are okay.  We all still care.
